Italy extends entry ban on Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka nationals
The Italy government has extended its entry ban on Bangladesh nationals till August 30 to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The embassy of Bangladesh in Rome issued a notification in this regard today.
The entry ban has also been imposed on nationals from India and Sri Lanka, the notification said.
"The new ordinance signed by Health Minister of Italy on 29 July extended the measures, in force for entry to Italy for nationals coming from Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka to August 30 to contain Covid-19.
"The Embassy of Bangladesh in Rome remains in close touch with the relevant Italian authorities to relax the measures for the Bangladesh nationals," it added.
