The most popular entertainment show in Bangladesh, “Ityadi”, is set to air its latest episode tonight. Written, presented and directed by Hanif Sangket, “Ityadi” will be telecast on BTV and BTV World after the 8pm news. Incidentally, production sources informed that “Ityadi” has stepped into its 25th year in 2013.
The show will continue featuring the historical and archeological sites of the country, with the latest episode being shot at Rangpur's Taaj-haat Zamindar Bari. As usual, it will present a collection of infotainment, along with special reports from around the country.
The reports include a pro-environment story on artiste Motiur Rahman and another story on the artworks of Imam Hossain Sabuj, from Noakhali's Tetiya village.
Tonight's show will also feature a Bhawaiya song performed by veteran singer Rathindranath Roy.
The famous “Mama-Bhagne”, “Nana-Nati” and other skits will present satires on the anomalies of society. These skits will be performed by Nazmul Huda Bachchu, Fakhrul Hasan Boiragi, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Quader, Afzal Sharif and others.
