The investigation officer and two other police officials yesterday gave their depositions in the sensational case for grenade attack on British High Commissioner in Bangladesh Anwar Chowdhury.
Sylhet Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal Judge Diproman Sarker recorded statements of senior CID ASP Munshi Atiqur Rahman, also the Investigation officer of the case (now on LPR) and police sub-inspectors of the then Sylhet Kotwali police station Shafiur Rahman and Shah Alam. The three prosecution witnesses appeared before the court yesterday after repeated summons.
With them, deposition of 53 PWs out of 57 was completed, court sources said.
The judge fixed 29 January for the next hearing.
