Sagar takes lone lead

National champion FM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar took a solo lead in the 8th Amritolal Dey international rating chess tournament at close of sixth round held in Barisal yesterday.
Sagar has now collected maximum six points from as many games.
FM Aminul Islam and Jamal Uddin shared the second position with five points each while five players -- FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman Emon, Shafiq Ahmed, Chanchal Kumar Ghosh, Delwar Hossain and Mohammad Sagar -- were jointly in the third position.
