Broadcast Reporters of Bangladesh executives
Zahirul Alam (NTV) and Zulfikar Ali (NTV) have been made convener and member secretary of the new 35-member convener committee of Broadcast Reporters of Bangladesh (BRB), a newborn platform of television and radio reporters.
The committee was formed at a meeting of reporters representing all private TV and radio channels of the country at the National Press Club on Saturday, says a press release.
The committee was formed to develop a sense of unity and promote and protect professional interests.
Rashed Ahmed (JTV) and Manosh Gosh (ATN Bangla) were made joint conveners while Keramot Ullah Biplob (Channel One) and Tariqul Islam Masum (Channel i) were made joint member secretaries.
Sharmin Rinvi (Bangla Vision) was made finance secretary.
Two reporters from each television channel and radio station have been made executive member of the convener committee.
The newly formed committee will work to formulate a new constitution, organise formal launching and programmes of professional benefit.
