Russel fined

Sheikh Russel KC have been fined Tk one lakh for their wild behaviour during their Bangladesh League encounter against Arambagh KS at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on the 6th of November.
"After the 6 November match of the Citycell Bangladesh League, some supporters of Sheikh Russel KC vandalised boards at BFF headquarters and behaved unacceptably. Considering this, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra have been fined Tk 1,00,000 and also have been warned," said a press release yesterday.
The league committee also announced Sheikh Russel joint-secretary (Sports) Mir Mohammad Shahabuddin Tipu as persona non-grata around the Bangabandhu National Stadium as well as the BFF House for two years.
The meeting also decided to resume the Bangladesh League from December 19 as the third professional football league remained suspend from November 7 for national team's preparation for the upcoming SAFF Championship to be held in Dhaka from December 4 to 13.
