Anniversary of death of Qudrat-I-Khuda today
Today is the 32nd death anniversary of Dr Kudrat-I-Khuda, a noted scientist and educationalist. Dr Khuda hailed from a respectful Muslim family of Rampurhat at Birbhum district in West Bengal, says a press release. He did his MSc degree from Calcutta University and earned DSc from London University. He was also awarded Prem-Chand-Ray-Chand Scholarship (PRS) from Calcutta University. He is the founder of Bangladesh Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (BCSIR). He also shouldered the responsibility to be the chairman of the first Education Commission in the post-liberation era. The report published is well known as Kudrat-I-Khuda Education Commission Report. On the occasion, BCSIR will hold programmes, including a doa mahfil at its auditorium in the city at 3:00pm today.
