Taskforce on CHT refugees to meet Oct 5
The first meeting of the reconstituted taskforce on rehabilitation of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) refugees will be held at Khagrachhari Circuit House tomorrow.
The government formed a nine-member taskforce on January 20 in 1998 under the CHT peace treaty to resolve the internal refugee problem.
The present grand-alliance government has reconstituted the taskforce with Jatindra Lal Tripura, an MP from Khagrachhari, as its chairman.
