One dies of dengue, 80 hospitalised

One patient died of dengue while 80 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the death in Dhaka, the death toll of dengue this year rose to 10.

With the new cases, 23 from outside Dhaka, the total number of dengue patients rose to 2,660.

Among the patients, 328 are still undergoing treatment, of which 73 from outside Dhaka.

A total of 2,322 patients have been released from hospitals, 337 from outside Dhaka.
