3 die of dengue in Cox’s Bazar

At least three dengue patients died in Cox's Bazar while 208 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours ended at 8:00am today, which is showing an alarming trend of rising dengue.

With the new death cases, which is the highest in a single day this year, the total number of dengue rose to 26.

Of the death cases, 15 were at Cox's Bazar while 11 were in Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

With 208 new patients, 51 from outside Dhaka, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 7113.

A total of 806 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 132 from outside Dhaka.

A total of 6,281 patients have been released from hospitals, including 1,142 from outside Dhaka this year.
