25 lakh Pfizer vaccines arrive in Dhaka airport

Twenty-five lakh more doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine, under the COVAX facility, arrived in Bangladesh early today.
A flight of Maldivian Airlines landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, carrying the vaccine consignment around 5am, according to a notice issued by the public relations office of health ministry.
The flight arrived from Florida, USA.
Officials of health ministry, Directorate General of Health Services, Central Medical Stores Depot and HSIA were present during the arrival of the vaccines, the notice added.
