No Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, positivity rate 0.78%

No Covid-19 deaths were reported in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,128 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.

At least 29 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours. The total number of cases rose to 19,53,233, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.78 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.87 percent, said the press release.

A total of 3,736 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 217 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,00,964 and the recovery rate at 97.32 percent, added the release.
