No Covid-19 death was reported in the 24 hours till 8am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The current positivity rate is 0.78 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.46 percent, said the release.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,437 and the mortality rate stands at 1.45 percent.

At least 21 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in this 24-hour period. The total number of cases meanwhile rose to 20,36,866, added the release.

A total of 2,700 samples were tested across the country during this time.

Meanwhile, a total of 37 patients recovered from Covid-19 during this period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,86,556 and the recovery rate stands at 97.53 percent, added the release.
