Television shows you must watch this Eid
Although Covid-19 and its restrictions have been taking a heavy toll on television shows, top TV channels of the country have arranged some special programmes for Eid-Ul-Azha. Here is a list of shows you can watch during the Eid holidays.
To entertain the kids this Eid-Ul-Azha, BTV has come up with three special episodes of "Sisimpur". The first two episodes will air on the first two days of Eid at 1:05 pm, while the last episode will air on the third day of Eid at 9:30 am.
Special live musical show "Gaaner Kheya" will air at 11:30 pm on Deepto TV. The seven-episode Eid special drama "Gangster Goni Bhai", featuring Mir Sabbir, Tanjika Amin and Sujat Shimul, will premiere at 5:30 on the same day. The series is directed by Mostofa Monon and Firoz Kobir Dollar.
Chayanika Chowdhury's Eid special production "Andho Jolchobi" will air at 9:50 pm on Maasranga Television on the first day of Eid. Produced by Dolly Iqbal and written by Iffat Arefin Mahmud, "Andho Jolchobi" features Sadia Islam Mou, Khairul Basher and Moushumi Mou, among others.
Musical show "Rock Carnival" will air on BTV at 5:10 pm on the first day of Eid. The show will feature performances by eight rock popular Bangladeshi musical bands, namely Chirkutt, Arbovirus, Black, Nova, Mechanics, Indalo, Pentagon, and Trainwreck. The show, produced by Fazle Azam Jewel, will be hosted by Muniah Islam.
Eid special tele-fiction "Hello Shunchen"? , will be aired on the first day of Eid at 7:40 on Channel i. Featuring Afran Nisho and Tanjin Tisha in the lead roles, it is directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan, who also wrote the screenplay for the project. "Hello Shunchhen?" is based on a story by young writer Rashat Rahman Zico.
Tele-fiction "Procchod", featuring Mosharraf Karim, Tareq Anam Khan, and Tania Brishty will air on the first day of Eid at 7:55 pm on NTV. The production is written and directed by Forhad Alam. Romantic television drama "Plus 4.5", featuring Afran Nisho and Mehazabein Chowdhury, will air at 9:30 pm on the same day.
Hanif Sanket's social family drama "Juger Hujuge" will air at 8:50 on NTV on the first day of Eid. The production casts Abul Hayat, Dilara Zaman, Mir Sabbir, Sarika Sharmin and Subhasish Bhoumik, among many others.
Tele-fiction "Rongin Fanush" will be presented at 7:40 pm on the second day of Eid on Channel i. Written by Jannatula Ferdous Labonno and directed by Shihab Shaheen, the production casts Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Sabila Nur, among others. The Salauddin Lavlu directorial tele-fiction "Porgacha", featuring Chanchal Chowdhury and Orthy among others, will air at 9:35 pm on the same day.
The Mahmudur Rahman Himi directorial tele-fiction "Ekush Bochhor Pore" will air at 7:55 pm on the second day of Eid on NTV. The production casts Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tasnia Farin, among others.
Featuring Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, "Ditiyo Shuchona", written and directed Vicky Zahid, will air at 7:40 pm on the third day of Eid on Channel i.
Band show "Hashte Dekho Gaite Dekho" will air at 5:10 pm on BTV on the fourth day of Eid. The programme, produced by Luthfor Rahman Robin and hosted by Neel Hur-E-Jahan, will feature performances by Symphony, Parthibo, F Minor, and Shohortoli.
Aarif A Ahnaf's "Midnight Sun", featuring Iresh Zaker and Rafiath Rashid Mithila, will air at 11pm on NTV on the fifth day of Eid. The tele-fiction is written by Farhad Hossain
"Eid Er Band Show" will be televised on BTV on the sixth day of Eid. Produced by Shah Zaman, the musical programme will air at 8:45 pm. The segment will feature musical bands Kishore and Friends, Northern Star, and Reshmi O Maati.
