I am deeply missing my father this Eid: Apurba
Noted TV actor Ziaul Faruq Abruba has been spending a busy time shooting for his Eid productions. We caught up with Apurba to know about his plans today.
Eid Mubarak! Your tele-film "Boro Chele" has reached 40 million views on YouTube.
Eid Mubarak to you as well. I am very grateful to my fans for making this possible. "Boro Chele" was released in 2017, and it's amazing to know the production still manages to keep the audience entertained.
I am indebted to my director Mizanur Rahman Aryan, my co-star Mehazabien Chowdhury and the crew of this production. We have had an amazing journey with this project.
Tell us about your Eid productions this time.
I will appear in diverse characters in my Eid productions this time. The story and narrative styles of my projects are also very different from each other.
Have you conceptualised the storyline for any of your projects?
I have conceptualised the plot for "Bodle Jawa Manush". The production is directed by Shihab Shaheen. I will appear opposite Tasnia Farin in this fiction.
This is the first time you will be spending Eid without your father by your side.
This, indeed, is heartbreaking for me. Words fail to justify the emotional distress I felt every time I realise that my father is no more. I will be spending Eid with my mother and my family in Dhaka and we will dearly miss the pillar, the shelter, the root of our family—my father.
Do you get time to watch your projects?
Not just mine, I also watch productions by others as we all have a lot to learn from each other. It helps me work on mistakes and give a better delivery the next time.
