‘Chitmahal’ to hit theatres on January 14

Inspired by the true events on partition and the exchange of enclaves, H R Habib produced and directed the film "Chitmahal". The film features popular model and actress Peya Jannatul in the lead role.

The film will hit theatres on January 14, amid the upsurge of Covid-19.

The project has been filmed in Maroa, Chitmahal.

"It focuses on the struggles of the people who were trapped in the disputed land between Bangladesh and India," said H R Habib.

The film also stars Moushumi Hamid, Arman Parvez Murad, Anwarul Alam Shazal, and Shimul Khan, among others.
