Wildlife researcher Tania Khan passes away

Tania Khan, an animal researcher and a wildlife photographer, died at her own residence in Moulvibazar Sadar upazila today.

She, 45, suffered cardiac arrest when she was sleeping at night, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports.

Tania had suffered heart attacks twice and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private clinic a few days ago, said Moulvibazar Divisional Forest Officer Abu Musa Shamsul Muhith Chowdhury.

Neighbours found Tania dead around 11:00am at her tin-shed residence at Kalenga near Lawachara forest, he said.

She left three daughters and one son to mourn her death.
