Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery joint director dies with Covid-19

Prof Lutfar Kader Lenin, joint director of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, died with Covid-19 today.

He breathed his last at 2:30pm at the intensive care unit of Square Hospital in Dhaka, said Dr Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the burn institute.

Prof Lenin was admitted to Square Hospital 20 days back after he tested positive for Covid-19, he told The Daily Star.

He was put on life support at the hospital after his condition deteriorated yesterday, he added.
