Fire breaks out at building in Dhaka’s Konapara

A fire broke out at a 10-storey building in Dhaka's Konapara area this afternoon.

The fire broke out around 4:25pm on the 6th floor of the building, Dana Miah, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, told The Daily Star.

The fire later spread to the fifth and seventh floors, he said.

On information, 13 units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and were trying to extinguish the fire till filing this report.

Casualty, reason of the fire and damage could not be known immediately, he informed.
