4 Bangladeshis reported dead in Beirut blast
The Bangladesh embassy has updated the total number of Bangladeshis killed in the Beirut explosions to four. Earlier, two other Bangladeshi victims had been identified in the blast which killed 113 people and left hundreds injured.
The two newly-identified victims are Rezaul, son of Monir Sikder from Madhabpur, Cumilla, and Rasel Miah, son of Mused Miah from Jazishar, Kasba, Brahmanbaria.
Abdullah Al Mamun, head of chancery of the Bangladesh embassy in Beirut, confirmed the identities to The Daily Star.
Also, at least 80 Bangladeshi nationals were injured in the explosion, including 19 members of Bangladesh Navy.
Earlier, two Bangladeshi nationals -- Mehedi Hasan of Brahmanbaria and Mizan from Madaripur -- were reported dead in the explosion.
