Three people were killed and two others injured as a truck hit another truck on Bangabandhu Bridge east link road in Kalihati upazila of Tangail yesterday.
Police said they could not identify the victims immediately.

The law enforcers and witnesses said the accident occurred around 4:30pm in Char Bhabla area when a truck carrying iron sheets hit another truck parked on the road, leaving three people dead on the spot.
On information, police rescued the injured and sent them to a Tangail hospital.
