Medical students demonstrate in Rajshahi demanding session jam-free academic year

More than 100 students from medical and dental colleges staged demonstration in Rajshahi city this morning to press home a four-point demand including ensuring session jam-free academic year.
They took position at Zero Point at Shaheb Bazar in the city around 10:00am and formed a human chain, reports our staff correspondent from Rajshahi.
Under the banner of "General Medical and Dental Students", they also held a rally there and ended their demonstration around 11:30am.
Earlier on November 1, several hundreds of students under the same banner blocked the capital's Shahbagh intersection with the same demands.
Their demands include starting online classes, ensuring session jam-free academic year and reducing fees.
They argued that online classes would ensure their safety and no session-jams.
They also demanded an alternative to professional examinations during the pandemic.
