Dhaka Bank, Sandhani sign agreement

Dhaka Bank signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday with voluntary blood donation organisation Sandhani and software development firm Exhort, to develop a blood bank management software and website.

Emranul Huq, additional managing director of Dhaka Bank; Prof Tosaddek Hossain Siddiqui, adviser of Sandhani, and Dr Shahariar Hossain, CEO of Exhort, signed the MoU, said a press release. Dhaka Bank CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman handed over a cheque for Tk 10 lakh to Prof Tosaddek for developing and implementing the service.

The project will enable efficient management of blood donation and provide key information on supply and demand of blood. Anyone in need of blood or willing to donate will be able to access the service.
