NRB Commercial Bank Ltd has recently appointed a new managing director and CEO.

Khondoker Rashed Maqsood was managing director and Citi country officer at CitiBank NA Bangladesh prior to the appointment, said an NRBC Bank press release yesterday.

He also worked at Citi Indonesia as managing director for global transaction services. Maqsood started his career at American Express Bank, Bangladesh after completion of his MBA from the Institution of Business Administration under Dhaka University in 1992.

“I am excited to join a reputed institution like NRBC Bank and look forward to transform it to a leading respectable bank of the country,” he said.
