Stocks gained slightly in the first hour of trading today, rebounding from the losses of the previous session. 

As of 10:58 am, the DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose 3.53 points, or 0.06 percent, to 5,173.22.

Of the traded securities, 170 advanced, 130 declined, and 82 remained unchanged, reflecting mixed investor participation. 

Turnover stood at Tk 127.09 crore during the period.

Atlas Bangladesh was the top gainer, surging 9 percent, while shares of  SS Steel dropped the most by 5 percent.

The CSE All Share Price Index edged up 21.16 points, or 0.14 percent, to 14,492.04.
