Butterfly Group Founder, Chairman MA Mannan no more

Butterfly Group Founder and Chairman MA Mannan breathed his last at 4am on June 9. He was 78 years old.

Mannan was more than a businessman. He was known for his inspiring persona and social activism. 

A trailblazer in his field, the champion leader has played a vital role for the electronic industry to see monumental growth in Bangladesh. 

His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan 2 and the second namaz-e-janaza was held after Asr prayers in a school field situated in his home town Sripur, Gazipur.

He left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter.
