Australia to lift air cargo ban on Bangladesh: envoy
Australian High Commissioner in Dhaka today said his government has taken the decision to amend the existing policy and lift the ban on operating cargo flights to the country.
Australian High Commissioner Jeremy Bruer revealed the development while meeting with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mafidur Rahman at the latter's office.
In 2016, Australian government imposed ban on operating direct cargo flight between the two countries -- citing lack of security at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
