Standard Bank hosts ‘Annual Business Conference-2025’

Standard Bank PLC organised the "Annual Business Conference-2025" with the slogan "Year of Consolidation: Build the Future Together" at the Radisson Blu Water Garden in Dhaka today.

Mohammed Abdul Aziz, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, the bank said in a press release.

In his address, Aziz expressed his satisfaction and congratulated all employees for the remarkable success achieved by the bank in 2024.

With the aim of contributing to the business growth and economic development of Bangladesh, he called on everyone to work collaboratively to sustain the progress of the bank by adhering to Shariah principles and providing the best services using modern technology.

AKM Abdul Alim, vice-chairman of the bank, was present as the special guest, while Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, SAM Hossain, Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, Md. Zahedul Hoque, and Ferdous Ali Khan, directors, were present as guests of honor.

Md Habibur Rahman, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the conference.

Muhammad Saifullah, chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the bank; Zubair Mohammad Ehsanul Hoque, member secretary; Md Siddiqur Rahman, deputy managing director and chief operating officer; Md Mizanur Rahman, company secretary; and heads of all branches and senior executives from the head office were also present.
