BB to issue new bank notes

Bank notes of 10 and 20 with the signature of new Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder will be issued from the central bank's Motijheel office from September 15.

The notes will also be issued from the other offices of the central bank later on, said a press note released by Bangladesh Bank yesterday.

The hue, size, design and all security features of the newly-printed notes will be unchanged like the past.

The other notes of 10 and 20, which are currently in circulation, will also be all the go as valid notes.
