Three garment factories - Kwun Tong Apparels Limited of Adamjee EPZ, Lenny Fashions Limited and Lenny Apparels Limited of Dhaka EPZ -- that had shut down due to Covid-19 pandemic – have paid dues to their workers.

Due to the global economic downturn caused by Covid-19, the companies decided to close down factories since they were unable to run their businesses.

Kwun Tong Apparels paid Tk 18.58 crore to 5,787 workers against their provident fund and gratuity.

Lenny Fashions and Lenny Apparels Ltd paid Tk 42.25 crore against the dues of 6,730 workers.
