The outstanding bills of six gas distribution companies of the country amount to Tk 9,018.04 crore, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid told parliament today.

In reply to a question from ruling Awami League MP Abdul Latif, the junior minister said the highest amount of outstanding bills -- Tk 6,677 crore -- remains with Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd.
