Today, this challenge has become an anticipated event among many writers. The rules are quite simple: throughout the month of Ramadan, a prompt is given every night, participants must post their work online, following the 250 word limit and the deadline. 2021 was the third year that Sehri Tales was open to the public. Marking Rabindranath Tagore’s 160th birth anniversary, Chhayanaut organised a virtual cultural programme. Titled Dhor Nirbhoy Gaan, the theme of the event was to hope, and to be brave. Throughout decades, over a million Rohingyas have fled the violence in the Rakhine state of Myanmar. The persecution of the Rohingya people led to the exodus that began in August 2017, marking one of the most tragic humanitarian crisis in recent history. The biggest victims of this catastrophe were women and children, who witnessed the targeted violence and are limited to the identity of refugees today.
