Afzal Hossain and Mou in “Oporichita”

Seasoned actor-director Afzal Hossain will share screen space with popular model-actress Sadia Islam Mou in Eid special single- episode play “Oporichita”.

Written by Pantho Shahriar and directed by Nayeem Imtiaz Neyamul, the play is currently being shot in different locations in the capital.

Afzal Hossain said, “Mou is a talented actress and we have close family ties. Though she has always been into modeling, she has a rare acting talent.”

On the other hand, Mou said, “As an actress I feel lucky to have worked with people like Afzal Hossain. It always feels good to work with him as I get to learn a lot from him. He is one of my mentors.”

The play, reuniting Afzal and Mou onscreen after one year, will go on air on a satellite channel during Eid.
