The Ocean Dance Festival 2019

World Dance Alliance – Asia Pacific (WDA-AP) will be attending their annual general meeting and network meetings from November 22-25, 2019 in Cox's Bazaar. The four-day long dance extravaganza by the beach, comprising of seminars, workshops and live performances, will be organised by WDA, Nrityajog (WDA-AP's Bangladesh chapter), Bangladesh Tourism Board, University of Chittagong and Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh. Internationally renowned British-Bangladeshi dancer, Akram Khan is scheduled to arrive as the keynote speaker at the festival. Bangladeshi dancers are encouraged to apply with performance proposals to the festival committee by February 25, 2019. “Our aim is to showcase an array of performances by talented Bangladeshi dancers who truly deserve an opportunity to present their work on such a prestigious global platform” said Lubna Marium, the Vice President of the South Asian chapter of WDA and the Chairperson of Nrityajog.
