Ritwick Chakraborty to join Aupee Karim in DEBRIS OF DESIRE

After 15 long years, beloved actor Aupee Karim, will return  to the silver screen with Debris of Desire, jointly produced by Bangladesh and India. The film is based on two short stories, Bishakto Prem and Subala, by Manik Bandopadhyay.

 Karim will be seen playing the role of Shoma, a working woman, who lives with her child and unemployed husband. She will be seen opposite Ritwick Chakraborty and is currently in Kolkata for filming. Parts of the film will be shot in Dhaka as well.

Debris of Desire is directed by Indranil Roy Chowdhury from Kolkata, and is jointly produced Indranil and Josim Ahmed from Bangladesh. The directors aspire to reach out to an international audience with the film.
