JCI hosts ‘Battle of Brush 4.0’
With an objective to build a bridge between differently abled and abled children, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka West hosted their art competition, ‘Battle of Brush 4.0’ recently at Mirpur.
Over a thousand young artists from 80 different government and primary schools, belonging to different backgrounds, came together on one platform at the competition.
Irfan Islam, National President of JCI Bangladesh attended the event as the chief Guest. National Vice President Arman A Khan, National Secretary General Erfan Haque, Abdullah Safi, Local President of JCI Dhaka West, and National Director Mehedi Hossain were also present as special guests. The jury panel consisted of cartoonists Syed Rashad Imam Tanmoy and Morshed Mishu.
The participants were categorised into four sections: Group 1 consisting of students from Play Group to KG, Group 2 consisting of kids from Grade 1-4, Group 3 with students from Grade 5-8, and Group 4 with students from Grade 9 to 12.
The winners of Group 1 were Kazi Tasfia Alam Tazrian (first), Amisha Amisba (second), and Manha Rahman (third). The winners from Group 2 were Sariaf Wamia Hassan (first), Adnan Ariz (second), and Tanzeen Wazeda (third). Zaima Amzad (first), Tanha Abdin Sneha (second), and Suhita Ahmed (third) were the winners from Group 3 and Arnika Tahsin (first), Kareemun Mahnoor (second), and Sadia Noor Eisha (third) had won the positions from Group 4.
All the winners were awarded crests, certificates and prize money of BDT 5,000 (first), BDT 3,000 (second), and BDT 2,000 (third).
A lucrative amount of prize money, sponsored by Acron, was awarded in recognition of the talents along with gifts from Acron and Onnorokom. Besides that, 50 of the best artworks are to be exhibited at various art galleries and the collected money will be donated for the education of students with special needs.

The supporting partner was Unmad. The grooming partner was Cartoon People and logistics partner was Onnorkom Bigganbaksho. The merchandising partner was Chizel, along with Metro Wedding as the documentation partner and Lighter Youth Foundation as the volunteer provider.
