Farhana Mili and Khalid Hossain Samrat stepped into the television arena at the same time, but they did not have any opportunity to work together. Recently, Mili and Samrat have joined forces for a single episode television play.

Samrat has directed the play, titled “Ghunpoka”, while Mili plays the female lead.

Also starring Sayeed Babu in the lead, shooting for the play wrapped up recently in Pubail near the capital.

Expressing her hopes about the success of the production, Mili said, “Though it was my first work with Samrat, he has earned a name as a good director. He is much organised, and has an eye for details.” 

Samrat said, “The production is my brainchild, and I worked dedicatedly for the play. The story is quite interesting which perfectly fits with Mili. She plays a challenging role, and has done very well on her part.”

The play will soon air on Channel i.
