Recently, noted actor Moushumi completed 26 years in the entertainment industry. The actor, who has many successful films and a National Film Award to her credit, made her cinematic debut with Keyamot Theke Keyamot in 1993, co-starring Salman Shah. “I am truly humbled with all the love and support my family, fans, colleagues and journalists have given me since my debut film,” says Moushumi. “Being a part of Keyamot Theke Keyamot, a film that resonates with the viewers to this day, was a privilege.”
However, such accomplishments have not slowed her down, as the she continues to be a busy artiste, working in films, tele-fictions and modelling. In the forthcoming month of Ramadan, Moushumi will serve as the host of the show, Quick Recipe, directed by Ripon Raag.
Her latest release, Ratrir Jatri, was widely praised by the audience. Helmed by Habibul Islam, Anisur Rahman Milon shared screen space with Moushumi for the first time in Ratrir Jatri. Other renowned actors in the film included the likes of ATM Shamsuzzaman, Salahuddin Lavlu, Shahidul Alam Sachchu and others.
She has further finished shooting for some parts of the film, Modhur Canteen, directed by Sayedur Rahman.
