“Anil Bagchir Ekdin”

Produced by Bengal Creations, an upcoming film “Anil Bagchir Ekdin”, based on Humayun Ahmed's story on the Liberation War, has been invited to two international film festivals, says a press release. Directed by Morshedul Islam, the film to be released on December 11 on the eve of Bijoy Dibosh, 2015 in Bangladesh, will participate in the competition category of the Colombo International Film Festival from November 6 -11.

“Anil Bagchir Ekdin” will also be screened at the World Film Festival, Bangkok to be held from November 13-22. Besides, the film will be screened in the competition category of the upcoming Dhaka International Film Festival in January 2016.

The cast of the film includes Aref Syed, Gazi Rakayat, Taufiq Emon, Jyotika Jyoti, Farhana Mithu and Misha Sawdagar. L Apu Rosario is behind the camera while Ratan Paul is in charge of editing. Swani Zubayeer is music director and Ashok Kumar Ghosh is art director.
