Oriental painting exhibition opens today

Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts works to promote young and talented artists of Bangladesh. This time, Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts, along with Oriental Painting Study Group, has organised 'The Oriental – 8th Oriental Painting Exhibition', an event to showcase beautiful creations based on oriental arts in a total of 60 artworks.

The artworks were collected from all around the nation. They were created by students of fine arts, self-taught artists and visual artists. Based on the 60 artworks, top three artists will be awarded for their skills prior to the judgment of the jury board.

The exhibition will run from today till August 13 everyday (except Monday).

The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be graced by the presence of the following esteemed guests: Faruq Sobhan,  Ex-High Commissioner of the Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, Visual Artist Rafiqun Nabi, Professor Nisar Hossain, Dean of Faculty of Fine Art at University of Dhaka, Art Critic Borhanuddin Khan Jahangir and Shwapna Bhowmick, Country Manager of Marks & Spencer in Bangladesh.
