Islamic University final exams to be held online
The authorities of Kushtia's Islamic University (IU) have decided to take the final examinations of honours and masters online.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Sheikh Abdus Salam, with deans of all faculties yesterday afternoon and all the departments were informed today, reports our correspondent quoting Senior Deputy Registrar of Press, Publications and Public Relations, Dr Amanur Rahman.
"Almost all of the members agreed with the decision", said Dr Amanur, adding, "The exam rules and regulations had already been conveyed to the departments."
"If the departments are ready, they can begin the tests at any moment after consulting with the departments' teachers," he added.
Prof Dr Sheikh Abdus Salam told The Daily Star that the decision was taken after much consideration of what other institutions are doing. He sincerely hoped for everyone's cooperation.
