Rab has questioned Regent Hospital Chairman Shahed Karim at Debhata border in Satkhira regarding an arms case filed against him with Debhata Police Station.
Officials of the force took Shahed to Lavanyavati area of Debhata upazila of the district from its Khulna office on a microbus at 4:00pm today.
They walked there for 30 minutes and later took Shahed to Komarpur Bailey Bridge.
Sources said Shahed was taken there for questioning in the arms case filed at Debhata Police Station. Afterwards, he was taken to Khulna RAB-6 office again, the sources added.
RAB officials did not talk to the reporters present at the scene.
On July 20, Shahed was arrested in Satkhira when he was trying to cross the Lavanyavati canal in Komarpur to leave the country. A pistol and several rounds of ammunition were seized from his possession during the arrest.
Following his arrest, Nazrul Islam, deputy assistant director of RAB, filed a case with Debhata police station under the arms act.
On July 28, Shahed was put on a 10-day remand in connection with the arms case.
