New smartphones, smartwatch and earbuds: Here's everything Google just announced
After months of speculation, Google has officially revealed their first smartwatch, Pixel Watch, in the Google I/O event on May 11.
Google Pixel Watch is slated to release this fall, alongside the upcoming Pixel 7 smartphone.
As stated in the Google I/O presentation, Google's Pixel Watch is made of recycled stainless steel with customisable bands. It features an improved Wear OS UI with voice-enabled functions, Fitbit integration and apps such as Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Home.
It also features the new app called Google Wallet - a rebranded version of the older Google Pay app. Basic smartwatch features such as a step counter and heart monitor will be available as well.
At the latest Google I/O event, Google also revealed their upcoming Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 smartphones, as well as Pixel Buds Pro and Android 13.
No other official details regarding the Pixel Watch, including the price, have been announced by Google yet.
