Nijer Bolar Moto Golpo hosts their 3rd Entrepreneurship Conference
Four thousand youth across the nation participated in the 3rd Entrepreneurship Conference organised by Nijer Bolar Moto Golpo, held at the Mirpur Indoor Stadium in Dhaka, recently. The conference featured 150 entrepreneurs' stalls, blood donation programme stall, an award giving ceremony and launching of the 3rd edition of the book, Nijer Bolar Moto Golpo, written by Iqbal Bahar, the founder of the platform itself.
Telecommunications Minister, Mostafa Jabbar attended the ceremony. "Your success story will be the story of Bangladesh in the coming days," he shared. Atiqul Islam, the former mayor of the Dhaka North City Corporation, inaugurated the Entrepreneurship Conference. On the occasion, he said it was a matter of surprise that such an enormous number of entrepreneurs could be created through an online workshop. That is proof of how the benefits of online use can change public life.
Iqbal Bahar, founder and CEO of Optimax Communications and Nijer Bolar Moto Golpo platform, established the platform two years ago with the dream of creating young entrepreneurs in the country. Around 2 lac Bangladeshi expatriates have been trained in 8 batches for 90 days, free of charge through this Entrepreneurship Online Training Platform. Over the past 2 years, around 1000 meet-ups have been organised across the country and abroad through social media. The training workshop went on for the last 730 days, with the promise to create job opportunities for the youth.
