Super green top for Tigers’ first Test

Bangladesh tend to lag behind, especially when it comes to Test cricket away from home in seaming conditions where the batsman are tested to their limits. The Tigers have lost all seven Test matches they played in New Zealand and it will be a tough ask yet again for the visitors to negotiate the pace and cunning of the Kiwi fast bowlers. The green top at Seddon Park might play out in the back of their minds but according to head curator Karl Johnson, the wicket will remain true and will offer something for both the batsmen and the bowlers. The Tigers batsmen need to remain solid on their defence as well as look to play their shots with an open mind.
