Rumana in ICC World T20I XI

Leg-spinner Rumana Ahmed earned the unprecedented honour of becoming the first Bangladesh women's team cricketer to be selected in a year-end International Cricket Council XI.
The 27-year-old was selected in the ICC T20I Team of the Year alongside the likes of India's Harmanpreet Kaur, Australia's Ellyse Perry, England's Natalie Sciver and Suzie Bates of New Zealand.
Rumana has been in superb form with the ball in 2018, taking 30 wickets from 24 T20Is played during the year. Besides an astonishing average of 12.13, it is her economy rate that would have impressed most as she conceded runs at a rate of just 4.78 per over in the format known to be toughest on the bowlers.
Her best bowling figures of the year were three wickets for just two runs from three overs against Netherlands. She was also instrumental in Bangladesh's seminal triumph in the Women's T20 Asia Cup in June, taking 10 wickets from six wickets.
ICC Women's T20I team of 2018:
Smriti Mandhana (India), Alyssa Healy (Australia) (wicketkeeper), Suzie Bates (New Zealand), Harmanpreet Kaur (India) (captain), Natalie Sciver (England), Ellyse Perry (Australia), Ashleigh Gardner (Australia), Leigh Kasperek (New Zealand), Megan Schutt (Australia), Rumana Ahmed (Bangladesh), Poonam Yadav (India)
