ICC Cricket World Cup trophy to arrive tomorrow
The cricket World Cup trophy is set to land in Bangladesh tomorrow morning for a four-day visit.
Fans in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chattogram will get the opportunity to see the trophy in their respective cities before it leaves Bangladesh on 21 October 2018, a BCB media release said.
The trophy began its journey from the International Cricket Council headquarters in Dubai on 27 August 2018 and is travelling across five continents, 21 countries and over 60 cities. It is the most extensive Trophy Tour ever and will allow cricket fans around the world to catch a glimpse of the coveted prize.
The trophy has already visited Oman, the USA, the West Indies, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The trophy will be available for viewing at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium tomorrow at 10:30 am tomorrow after which the Bangladesh team will have photo session with the trophy. On the 18th the trophy will be showcased at Jamuna Future Park in Bashundara from 11am before it can be viewed at Sylhet on 19th and Chittagong on the 20th.
