Bangladesh cricket was shaken to its core when the national cricketers including the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim and others put forth an 11-point demand and announced that they have gone on strike, boycotting all cricketing activities till their demands are met during a press conference at the Academy Ground in Mirpur yesterday.
After the incident, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) held an unofficial meeting in Mirpur at noon today. And according to BCB president Nazmul Hassan, the whole incident might have been a part of conspiracy to destabilize Bangladesh cricket. As per Hassan, the purpose of such an incident was to create chaos by revealing their demands to media before discussing with the BCB and it was an attempt to tarnish the image of country's cricket.
"We will find who is behind this conspiracy" said Hassan during a press conference today.
The BCB president however did not reveal their plans as how they will be resolving this issue.
