David Warner's Sylhet Sixers have picked up just one win from three matches so far in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) this season with their sole win being against Chittagong Vikings. The Sylhet team will now play in their home turf as the tournament moved to Sylhet and local boy Alok Kapali has high hopes for his side in the Sylhet phase.

Last year they won three matches on the trot at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and with the crowd's support Kapali stated that Sylhet will look to make a comeback with good performances.

For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel.

Alok is a local boy from the scenic Sylhet and said that he will enjoy returning to his team's home ground. "We will be able to enjoy ourselves a lot. I will try to give my best since we are playing in our home turf."

The batting order is yet to shine consistently for Sylhet this season with guys like Liton Das, Sabbir Rahman and Nasir Hossain still not amongst runs, but for Kapali, the team are showing good spirit.

"Given our team spirit, I feel we can we can expect good results. Everyone can give their 100 percent.

Sylhet are set to face Comilla and Alok talked about not repeating the mistakes that they made earlier on in the tournament. "In the last match we made a few mistakes," he said about the game against Dhaka Dynamites. "I believe we will come back really well. We will try not to repeat our mistakes," he concluded.
