Canada to give $100m aid for Rohingya crisis

Canada has announced almost US $100 million in humanitarian aid for the Rohingyas currently sheltered in Bangladesh's refugee camps.
Kamal Khera, Parliamentary Secretary to Canada's minister of international development, announced the aid today, said a press release today.
It includes $32.15 million aid to mitigate the impact of the monsoon, improve living conditions, and increased health facilities, it read.
It also includes $67.7 million in fund for assistance to expand health and basic education services, said the release of Canadian high commission.
The announcement comes at the close of Kamal Khera's three-day visit to Bangladesh, during which she visited Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
